The new Vismara v34ds marks the return of the day-sailing world into the shipyard designed for racing or cruising with the family is optimized for winds up to 18 knots. Confronting & analyzing other boats in the market today and studying the different water lines to optimize the performance brought a tremendous result of an advanced, very competitive and high performance boat which at the same time is easy handling, safe and reliable thanks to the extensive experience Vismara.

The Vismara studio developed a new & innovative form of hull chine already shown in the last Vismara yachts such as the V50 Hybrid, V50 k9, V62 Natali and V80 Luce Guida, modifying in this project also the bow shape basing on hydrostatic studies.

Construction

The whole construction is made by a sandwich Core with structural materials in advanced composites using unidirectional and biaxial carbon fibers impregnated and vacuumed in epoxy resin. Male models of hull are shaped under numerical control.

Interiors

The interior provide a queen size bed in the bow, two sofa-beds on each side to stern, an electrified toilet, a fridge of 40lt. Carbon structures and structural furniture have a carbon look. Using a stepped deck mast, maximum beam of 3.10 M and maximum height of 1.60 M (higher then the standard) leaved a wide and comfortable space respect to a yacht in this category and measure.

Characteristics

RIG The vismara V34DS has a deck stepped carbon mast with 2 spreaders in 30° without backstay. Mast height is considered on the basis of stability studies. The deck plan was design for a double use: regatta and cruising with a self tacking staysail or 110% for regatta. The maneuvers are divided in: - 2 Winches 40 electric heading to bow for staysail & genoa halyards, reef, outhaul & external tack non ducted.
- 2 Winches 46 rewind radial next to the helmsman for main sheet, main halyard / code0 & furlers all ducted. - 4 Halyards: main, genoa, code, gennaker, plus 2 exits for reef and outhaul all in dyneema & spectra. The Vismara custom mainsheet track from that was developed for the V47RC was also installed, with slight changes on this new V34DS which can be regulated both steering positions. Carbon boom with lazy jack with a continue reef. Harken hard deck, manuel harken staysail & code furler under deck. Hydraulic vang with an electric command near the helmsman. Electric command panel on the steering consul with 6 buttons which regulate the winches, vang & main traveler on both steering positions.
