As in the past for “Alligator” Vismara/Farr 65’, for “Casuarina Crow” the studio intervened with the design of interiors, deck, sail plan and appendages on a hull designed by worldfamous name, Rolf Vrolijk.

Considering the owner’s need to use the vessel for cruising, including ocean-going cruising, but with a reduced crew, Vismara opted for a sail plan and deck layout especially for easy sailing. The chain-plates, therefore, have been moved to the sides so as to increase the angle of the spreaders, which avoids the use of handwheels; the sail plan has thus been modified in favour of a larger mainsail surface compared to the genoa, with low overlap, and the appendages have been redesigned to optimise the hydrodynamic profiles and at the same time, reduce draft. The boat’s easy manoeuvrability is further ensured by simplified lines, led through to the cockpit. The interiors, as requested by the owner, place great emphasis on the master cabin, located in the bow, and on the dinette. The stern contains two guest cabins, plus a crew cabin that also serves as a sail locker.
