This new project from Vismara is a pure 46’ fast cruiser, designed and developed for a couple.
This is the third v 46’ semicustom and it is a superlative example of the best concept of vismarayachts: an extremely sophisticated craft in design and construction terms, with high-performance under sail, easy to handle with a small crew and with cosy furnishings designed with a warm style. The hull has been optimised for top performance and features lightmiddle displacement, a high stability ratio and sleek bow lines to guarantee the best possible passage over the waves and comfortable sailing. The stern section is pointed, which is typical of the Volvo 70 and the new Vismara 46’ and 52’. The hull and deck are completely made in carbon, from male moulds. The deck plan is fully automated, with hydraulic control of the mainsheet, electrical retracting halyards, winches and electrical furlers. The particular feature of this design project is the mast placed directly on the deck; it rests on a special “arched” bulkhead carbon, without a mainstay below deck, which means it takes up none of the interior, which enjoys lots of space. The layout and design of the interiors were developed in conjunction with the owner and conceived for a couple. The vessel has two large cabins and two bathrooms, with a symmetrical division of space. The style is very warm, with natural teak and composite material furnishings. The bow area has a bathroom and a double cabin with twin beds and double wardrobes. The dinette has two large “halfmoon” sofas to seat a total of six. The galley has a sink, fridge and cook top. Opposite the galley is the course plotting table with lowered top for a laptop computer. Behind the course plotting area is a bathroom with double doors, which serves both the dinette as a guest bathroom and the master cabin. In the stern area is a large master cabin with double bed, and access through an area with wardrobe and opposite, the bathroom.
