Magic Touch

About

Magic Touch comes just a few months after “Mon Ami” and the main differences between the two concern the evolution and fine tuning of a single design philosophy: to make the use of a vessel as a cruiser or a racer truly indifferent, making it easier to sell on in both environments.

Characteristics

The open stern offers greater cockpit comfort; the main traveller has been moved more towards the bow and as a result, the boom is shorter and the mainsail surface is smaller, enabling aerodynamic efficiency compared to rating. All rig is sunken, leaving the deckhouse clearer and more living space on deck.

Interiors

The interior envisages two cabins, but there is also a second bathroom and some additional cruising accessories, such as the fridge in the central part of the engine room, although no accessories adversely affect weight calculation and therefore, performance. The study of interior spaces emphasises the concept of multi-purpose space, as happens with the composite panels through which the cabins make room for generously sized bathrooms and which, when not used, return that space to the cabins. While racing, the interior is converted to an open space for much easier sail management.
