The Yacht

The boat has a high prismatic coefficient, rounded sections with minimum wetted surface, a rather fine bow area but a large-sized stern, with volumes and a maximum beam accentuated for the entire central section of the hull. The deck is very clean and orderly, to the benefit of both types of use: cruising and racing. The rig is prime quality and also selected and fitted with an eye to racing use, with 3 coffee grinders, one in the cockpit for the main sheet and the other two before the central cockpit to aid the primary winches. The double cockpit meets the needs or rationalisation and distribution of the various rig and equipment during a race as well as the space available for “nontechnical” sailing moments. The interiors are made in termanto panels faced in teak, used on both furnishings and bulkheads. This technique has allowed “Morgana” to be a boat with a tough, racing look but with the interiors of a luxury yacht. Management of the space on board has created a division between the crew area in the bow and the owner’s and guests’ quarters in the stern, with the twin-bedded master cabin and the guest cabin with bunks, each one with its own bathroom.
