VXR5
Evolution of the famous V50 “Dragon” launched in 2015, the first real long-sailing “yacht” equipped with two Sail Drive engines and an innovative exterior – interior layout.
The hull, built in glass / carbon sandwich, is made in such a way as to make the boat as light as possible, and therefore more performing both under sail with little wind and under power.
The VXR5 is designed for long voyages and is endowed with a great self-sufficiency at sea from an energy point of view it is equipped with 1.4 kw of Solbian solar panels that complement the 12V and 24V alternators installed on the 2 motors.
The system is supported by batteries for a total of over 600Ah.
This allows you to feed 2 fridges and a freezer continuously together with the watermaker and occasionally a small AC system.
Autonomy is guaranteed by 2 600l fuel tanks in total and 1300l water tanks.
To maximize smoothness in long sailing trips, a Slips Dophin silicone antifouling has been adopted which guarantees 5 years of unaltered performance.
The cockpit and the interior of the boat are on the same level, without a ladder.
This arrangement, together with large windows, which give a great brightness to the environment, allow you to look outside at 360 ° and to navigate and live indoors, always “sea view”.
Looking inside we find large and very bright spaces: a large dinette divided into two parts: on the left C-shaped sofa with a second swivel dining table with 3 functions, compact with anti-roll edge, open for 6/8 seats and lowered convertible into a bed matrimonial.
On the right side, the kitchen consists of tilting gas burners, double sinks, two refrigerators plus a freezer, oven, large countertop and chart table at the corner towards the bow for internal wheelhouse use.
Continuing forward two cabins: on the left with bunk beds and private wardrobe, while on the right with a double bed.
Immediately after there is a large service bathroom with shower.
At the far bow is the large master cabin with double bed, double wardrobe and private bathroom with shower.
The furnishings are made of oak and the floors in heat-treated oak, both treated with a natural wax-based protective cycle.
All cabins are ventilated thanks to the various hatches on the deck and an air conditioning system.
A big news of the VXR5 is the deck; covered in white synthetic material with fluorescent rubber, excellent for night sailing and “always see where you put your feet”.
